If increasing your impact as an athlete is your desired outcome, then yoga will help you achieve your goal. Rather than isolating an area of the body, yoga teaches the athlete to develop self-awareness and recognize how their body moves as a whole.

This increased mindfulness aids in injury prevention and supports recovery while contributing to increased output in their sport. Simply, yoga complements athletic training, making performance more effective and efficient.  

Traction Athletic Performance yoga sessions are customized to athletes’ current needs. This includes length of session, intensity, level of experience, body focus, groups size, and purpose.

A weekly one-hour group yoga class is scheduled for athletes enrolled in training memberships.
